Our story
KB Image Compressor started with a simple frustration. Every time someone needed a photo at exactly 20KB for a job portal, 50KB for an exam form, or 100KB for a website, the existing options failed them: desktop software was overkill, popular web tools capped uploads, forced sign-ups, or — worst of all — sent private photos to a stranger's server.
So we built the tool we wished existed: open the page, drop your images in, type the exact KB you need, and download the result. No accounts, no watermarks, no daily limits, no uploads. Everything runs inside your browser using modern web technology, which means your images never leave your device — not even for a millisecond.
What we believe
- Privacy is non-negotiable. A compression tool should never see your photos. Ours architecturally cannot.
- Free means free. No trials, no credits, no "pro" paywall hiding the features you actually need.

KB Image Compressor shrinks JPEG, PNG, and WebP photos by up to 90% with one-click presets (Web, Balanced, Social, Maximum), a custom quality slider, exact-KB target sizing, format conversion, resizing with aspect-ratio lock, cropping, live before/after comparison, per-file renaming, and batch ZIP download. GIF and SVG files are supported too, and pass through safely. It works on phones, tablets, Chromebooks, and desktops — anything with a modern browser.
